If you are looking for any kind chalk art or chalkboard art in and around your home or business, then look no further then Jodi at [POP Rocks Studio]!

I gave her a couple ideas but really let her flex her creative muscles when it came to the animal theme I was going for in my baby-to-be’s nursery. I told her I wanted a few specific animals and that chalkboard art would be awesome and she went with it. My husband and I are in love with the final product! The animals have really come alive and truly something we will enjoy for years to come. She works efficiently as well and is very professional. Highly recommend!!

I contact Jodi about a last minute job to make an A-Frame Chalkboard sign for an event that needed some branding and calligraphy. She provided many options from pick-up to on-site work and was very flexible. She was professional and even took the time to re-finish the chalkboard sign that was a little rough. It was a pleasure working with her and the product turned out better than expected with full color and a beautiful design.

MY PROMISE

I strive to keep the endangered art of hand-lettering and hand rendered art alive and well in the Los Angeles area. I like to stay true to my materials—chalk, paint, and wax pastels—and to my clients. I want to convey the unique styles and messages of my clients by getting to know them and by making all of my art by hand.

About Me

MY NAME IS JODI

I moved to L.A. in 2002 where I obtained my master’s degree in Art Therapy from LMU. I like to think that my background in Studio Art and Art Therapy helps me interpret clients' ideas and messages and convey them in an effective and stylish manner.

I’m inspired by the life and works of Patti Smith, Jasper Johns, my partner Cam, my daughter Ruby, and my mom.

When I'm not chalking, I like to play rec league softball, make my house pretty, and read with my animals.
